About
Steph Nyhof-Hannah
My passion is helping others through injury prevention and whole-body restoration. My goal is to reduce pain, improve movement, and decrease stress so you can feel your best and accomplish more in your everyday life. I believe in a preventative approach to healthcare and value evidence-based practices that support long-term health and healing. I view the body as an interconnected system, and I incorporate this whole-body approach into every bodywork session.
Radom facts about me:
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me adventuring with my husband Tyler and our German Shepherd, Koda. I love CrossFit, mountain biking, camping, shooting, surfing, snowboarding, and dirt biking—anything that keeps me moving, challenged, and connected to what matters most.
Education:
I received my nursing degree in 2009 and began my career in OB-GYN, which later led me to becoming a doula. From there, I expanded into pediatrics and currently work PRN in geriatrics. Throughout the years, my passion for fitness, health, and helping others heal continued to grow, leading me to further my education and certifications. I went on to obtain my Massage License and Sports Massage Certification, 200-Hour Yoga Certification, CrossFit Level 1 Certification, and Personal Training Certification.
What I Do?
I have developed my own unique medley of modalities that have been found to be most effect for promoting recovering, preventing injuries and relieving pain.
This style is a combination of Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Work, Deep Tissue, Structural Integration, Myofascial Release, Sport Massage, Therapeutic Cupping and Scrapping. The main aim is to break down adhesions, and internal scar tissue, reduce hypertonicity and promote tissue flexibility. This helps realign layers of muscle, releasing any tension in the myofascial tissue, promoting blood flow to problem areas helping relieve muscle tension and prompting cell repair for optimal healing.
I use my own handmade local Tallow Salve, which I use as my glide during your treatment. This promotes collagen production and the repair of body tissue, through the combination of a specialty essential oil blend, DMSO oil, Castor Oil and Comfrey. Find more on the synergy of DMSO Oil and Castor Oil at www.NyhofTallow.com (alternative options are available upon request)
Each massage is customized to your body’s needs.
